Barbeque (2008)

We had a great night with all our friends and neighbours in Spain. We all gathered in Dot and Colin’s for a barbeque. The food was excellent with Colin coming up trumps with the best roast pork I have ever tasted. It was so good that even the local mossies turned up to try and get a taste. We had some fun with the mystery magician (me) who’s favourite trick was to make 2 pork and apple sauce rolls disappear!

There was some discussion about which toilets people should use, as Dot had especially cleaned theirs for the event and one or two wayward souls were wandering off without inspecting her handiwork. The night was saved by Pedro, who not only tried the loo, but also their 4 poster bed! (hopefully not at the same time – phew!) Sheila kept her top on (boo!) and I didn’t shock everybody with my thong! (hooray!) Pauline added to the event with her dancing and shimmying till late into the evening. I wonder what might of happened if we’d had a pole! Still there’s always next time….

It was good to see Dave, who is to be our brand new neighbour, Pauline and Arthur, along with Frankie and Steve who all added to the evening’s festivities.
