Torrevieja

One of the events we always enjoy is Spain’s Sunday evening family promenade which takes place on the seafront at Torrevieja. It seems to be tradition that whole families from babies to grandparents dress up in their Sunday best and parade along the seafront. It is always very busy with lots of street artists and “looki-Looki men” to entertain you. We choose a good relaxing bar, order coffee (and ice cream!) sit at the promenade tables and watch the world go by.

Actually… we do a bit of “posh frock” spotting, and most important of all – watching out for style disasters! Great fun as the sun gently descends. Then off to a restaurant for a meal.
